Great day out with family.

Fantastic day out with 2 teenage girls and wife, we all throughly enjoyed the day (and it is a full day!!!). Fantastic level of knowledge on local, history, culture and nature, well done to our driver Steven. Pete also in the other vehicle. Lovely lunch stop (included). Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see more of Spain than just the 100m behind the seafront. Andalucía is a beautiful region to be discovered, even more so at this time of year when the beach or pool aren’t particularly inviting.

Thanks again for a great day out. Get booked up with Rangers Safari Tours for an unforgettable day!!!

Great day out with family.
What a fantastic experience! 8 of us went on an off (and slightly on) road buggy tour around the hills near Mijas/Fuengirola. It was quick to get used to the buggy; heavy on the break but lighter on the gas, no power steering, they're surprisingly easy to drive. The dirt roads were narrow and exciting, having to be cautious around bends, but the buggies handled them well. As the buggies are open you feel like you're going twice as fast as you are which adds to the excitement. I drove for the full 3 hours and at no point did I feel too tired to continue, the next day I was a little stiff, but that was from gripping the wheel so hard!

The views are stunning! We stopped off several times for a breather and a bit of local info from our guide, Louis, who was brilliant. Wear confortable clothing to protect from the dust and the wind, probably a hat. You can buy a bandana from HQ to protect your face if you don't have your own and you are provided with goggles, which are definitely necessary once you get off road.

Genuinely one of the most exciting things I've ever done, it might have taken 3 showers to rid of all the dust, but it was beyond worth it!

El Torcal & Antequera

A fabulous day trip to visit 5000 year old Dolmens, sited opposite the mountain that looks like a sleeping giant, the 14th Century Alcazaba and 20 million year old limestone cliffs that are now 2000 feet above sea level. Ian was a great host who pointed out amazing wildlife.

Excellent experience, excellent tour guide Lewy!

Me and my partner both did the buggy safari tour yesterday and it was fantastic. Lewy, our tour guide was absolutely brilliant, very friendly and full of knowledge on the area. We stopped off numerous times to take pictures and get an insight of inland Spain. 10/10 given to Lewy!! Great experience, would definitely recommend and would do it again in the future.

rangers trip to Ronda

Our driver was a Scottish guy called Ian. He took us to Ronda, stopping off for refreshments along the way. Ian was very informative, giving lots of details about the local environment and the history of the area. We stopped at a point below Ronda initially so that we could take photos of the bridge before Ian dropped us off in the town to explore the area and enjoy the spectacular views from the bridge. After a couple of hours we met up again and drove to Puerto Banus where we had time to explore the shops and see the yachts in the harbour. It was an amazing day, definitely well worth the money

Excellent Tour With Lunch Andalucia

This experience was in the Costa del Sol mini heatwave October 2019. We have used this tour company on previous visits and could not recommend highly enough. The drivers have lived locally for many years and know all the roads including short cuts when the main highways grind to a halt in rush hours. This was a full day tour with lunch and we were picked up from our hotel by our very informed and friendly driver. We are rather glad the jeep was not crammed full and could move around, stand up, and take photographs as we liked off road. Seated with seatbelts required on the main public roads. There were several stops to take photos and examine fruits, seeds, plants. We visited several villages on the way and had coffee and other drinks since it was quite warm. Some of the off road driving was along a route obliterated by recent thunderstorms and just rebuilt. One bridge even was tested by our driver jumping up and down though camera not quite ready for that one! Lunch was prebooked at a lovely dog friendly restaurant and we were all well looked after. We stopped at Monda to have another drink. A tour of the olive trees nicely rounded off the tour before returning to hotels.

Really amazing tour - way more than I expected

Just got back from a jeep safari tour off the beaten track in Andalucia and wow! So much more than I had expected. As well as visiting the promised white villages we drove all over the countryside on tiny dirt roads and tracks, up hills and a mountain over 800 metres high. Stephen our driver stopped at each point of interest - from pointing out avocado and almond trees to introducing us to a 2000 year old olive. We even saw herds of goats grazing. The views were stunning - this is simply something you could not do yourself in a hire car. Nice three course lunch with drink and coffee included too. If you only book one tour during your holiday on the Costa del Sol, make it this one.

Spring Comes Early Andalucia 2019

An amazing tour not to be missed with lunch provided. Also several short walks in quiet peaceful locations This is a repeat visit and we were delighted as ever. The jeep drivers have been doing the tours for years and visit lovely places off road. They are also friendly and explain details of the areas visited making for an interesting day, All the almond trees were in full blossom mid January lovely start to spring 2019

Andalucía AND Ronda Trips— so awesome!!

While staying in Sitio de Calahonda, we ended up booking 2 Safari tours— one to Ronda and one to Andalucía.

The Andalucía trip gave us AMAZING scenes of the mountains and culture of Spain. It felt like a behind the scenes tour, away from all the touristy areas. In addition, the lunch we had at the roadside cafe was phenomenal! (Like 5 courses!!) Steve was so informative about all the plants and trees and topography! Highly recommend!

The trip to Ronda was a totally different experience! You still have an amazing scenic route drive but it’s less informative about the culture, plants, etc. of Spain. When you arrive in Ronda you get 3 hours to explore and it was INCREDIBLE! The pictures don’t do this city justice. Ronda has been one of our highlights of our trip!!

Definitely recommend this tour!! So much fun!!

This was a great family day out

We booked one Land Rover for Grandma, Grandad, Mum, Dad, 6 year old and a 2 year old. Had a fabulous day started 9:00 finished 5:00pm. All around the area inland of Calahonda. Rough roads, hills, valleys, a river bed, little villages never visited before and Stephen our capable driver. A great way to see what the area is really like with geography/history/farming/flora lessons thrown in if wanted. Very exciting, interesting and rewarding. A meal included in a proper Spanish place (getting harder to find in the Costa del Sol now. Thanks for a brilliant day that our family and especially our grandchildren will never forget. ps Suitable for anybody or any group
